The Fort Worth Iris Society was founded in 1959 to promote interest in
the culture of irises. It is an affiliate of the American Iris
Society.
The public is welcome at all of our events.
The Fort Worth Iris
Society (FWIS) usually meets the first Thursday of each month at 7:30 p.m.
at the Fort Worth Botanic Garden Center. Come visit us.
For information about other iris societies in Texas visit the AIS
Region 17 Web site. In 2008 the American
Iris Society Convention will be held in Austin, Texas, April 14-19.
